Two new fact sheets from the National Wildlife Federation detail the economic benefits of comprehensive climate and clean energy legislation.

Published July 13, 2009 WASHINGTON, DC – An organization calling itself the “Tea Party Patriots” has launched a campaign urging its members to misrepresent themselves in calls to U.S. Senate offices. “When you write or call, please make sure you are armed with a city name and zip code in the home state of the Senator you are calling,” a recent action alert urged members. The email then admitted, “They may not want to hear from you without this information.”

Two new ads from The National Wildlife Federation Action Fund, and Florida Wildlife Federation ask Florida Representatives Ros-Lehtinen and Buchanan to support the American Clean Energy and Security Act. 

This historic piece of legislation creates a new energy economy that will create jobs for Americans, and safeguard wildlife from the effects of global warming.

In an ad running in The Politico today, a coalition of sportsmen and women's groups are asking congress to safeguard our precious natural resources by passing the American Clean Energy and Security Act.    Sportsman know that it's time to invest in a clean energy economy that will create jobs and safeguard America's wildlife and natural heritage.
