Hunting and Angling Groups Demand Climate Action
Four New Hampshire sportsmen joined dozens of hunters and anglers from across the country in Washington, DC on February 12, 2008 to make sure Congress listens to the voice of sportsmen on global warming. They personally delivered a letter signed by 677 hunting and fishing groups representing all 50 states, including 24 groups from New Hampshire.
The letter was also featured in a full-page ad in USA Today (pdf).

The message was clear:
- America needs to reduce greenhouse gases that are polluting the environment.
- Congress needs to provide wildlife professionals with the resources they need to ensure wildlife survives a changing climate.
It's not too late to sign this letter.

FACT SHEET:
"Global Warming and New Hampshire" (pdf)
Unless action is taken now, scientists estimate that by 2100, New Hampshire's average summer temperatures could increase between 7 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100. These conditions have enormous implications for the viability of New Hampshire’s fish and wildlife as well as the recreation and tourism industries they support.
