Of all seasons, winter is the one Vermont is best known for. Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and ice fishing are mainstays of the Vermont culture and boons to the state’s economy.
But what if Vermont lost these key industries? What if the climate changed so that it was too warm for snow — even man-made snow? What if temperatures rose, and lakes didn’t freeze?
