It’s worth conserving

A State College researcher believes wildlife is suffering from the effects of global warming.

Ed Perry, an outreach coordinator with the National Wildlife Federation, believes the excessive use of fossil fuels is causing the waterways to become warmer and leading to faster ice melts north of Canada.

Perry believes the future of trout and other aquatic life that need cold water is in jeopardy.

To combat the problem, he said the nation has to conserve more fuel than ever before.
